Problem
A critical pump with no manufacturer support failed; the only spare was a worn casting and no drawings existed anywhere.
Method
Handheld laser scan at sub-millimetre resolution, design-intent remodeling restoring symmetry and nominal wall thickness, with every inferred surface flagged.
Result
The shop machined a replacement pattern from our STEP file; the deviation report gave the machinist measured-versus-reconstructed confidence surface by surface.
