Sample projectIndustrial & Manufacturing — common questions
Why survey as-built before a retrofit?
Because the drawings lie. Decades of modifications never make it back onto plant drawings; an as-built scan lets the new equipment get designed against reality — our clients routinely install clash-free on the first attempt.
Can you measure operating machinery?
Static geometry needs a shutdown window, but we work around production — nights, weekends and turnarounds — and capture what we need in hours, not days.
What size of part is too big or too small?
Trackers cover machine beds to complete buildings; handheld scanners resolve sub-millimetre detail on castings and machined parts. If it fits under a roof or open sky, we can measure it.
